The Hallway Track

Beyond the Meter is one of my favorite projects, because besides being a bright, cheerful brand to work with, I thoroughly enjoy listening to the podcast. It’s a product I genuinely like and I’m proud to have worked on.

The Hallway Track

The Hallway Track is a virtual small-group meeting event series for energy and sustainability leaders. The series was developed in early 2020 to capture the same energy found in hotel hallways during a work conference - candid and collaborative discussions in small groups. In 2021, it was refreshed to reflect the new Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions brand.

Focusing on the idea of conversations, I incorporated speech/messaging bubbles. The first idea used Duke Energy icons, but it was determined that it felt behind-the-times with older, Apple-style messaging graphics.

Assets for this series are minimal, consisting of basic email graphics, social media images, and simple website graphics. I’m proud of the sketch I produced, integrating the graphic elements of the logo into the hallway.
